Warrick Ranson was appointed Global Chief Financial Officer of Sims Limited in December 2023. He brings more than two decades of executive-level experience from senior positions within blue-chip corporations operating across global markets in the mining and resources industries.

Before joining the company, Warrick served as Chief Financial Officer of OZ Minerals Limited for nearly six years, guiding the company through a period of substantial growth and value creation. He previously spent approximately 18 years at Rio Tinto in a variety of roles.

Warrick is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and New Zealand, holds a Bachelor of Business Studies from the University of Tasmania, is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and holds a MBA from the University of Oxford.
